A Badass Book Club is a dynamic book and networking group founded by Howard University alumnae, Kasey Woods and Natasha Dooley, to amplify the voices of People of Color (POC). In a world where diverse voices are often overlooked, we curate books that educate, inspire, and spark meaningful conversations.

 

Each month, we feature works by POC authors across genres—fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, poetry, and speculative writing—highlighting culture, history, identity, and the human experience. After every meeting, members enjoy an exclusive Q&A with the author, offering rare insight into their creative process and themes.

 

Our members are a vibrant, diverse community of smart, sophisticated readers who value education, growth, and connection. Beyond books, we provide a platform for dialogue, empowerment, and networking, where literature becomes both a tool for personal development and a bridge to community.
